Velveteen Flamingo herself put out a call to get help for her fashionista friend Scarlet Dream, who was picked up from the Chinese restaurant after the conclusion of "Velveteen Dream" by an impostor car. Velveteen Flamingo offered payment, and the runners decided not to talk her up on price, hoping that it would make her happier. @Noodle was able to contact one of his PI contacts, who let us know that there was a bounty out on Scarlet Dream to make a competitor pay for their misdoings. He notified us that the contract for Scarlet Dream was to be delivered to a warehouse in Bellevue for transfer to "Bel". The runners hauled out to the location and in the drive, found a back entrance through the sewers. Upon entering the sewers, it was found that there were devil rats and demon rats all over the place. @Polaris decided that the rats were wasting time, and threw a stun grenade...taking care of the rat problem, but also alerting the kidnappers of their arrival. A fight insued in an underground area, where the runners met with heavy opposition. @Noodle took a bullet to the chest, nearly killing him. @Princess Jenny had a miraculous grenade throw, causing a cave in over the clustered goons, allowing the runners to collect Scarlet Dream and get her to safety. Despite efforts from the mages, @Noodle was unable to get healed via magic, so he decided to seek medical treatment. The runners returned Scarlet Dream to Velveteen Flamingo, who was happy to have the job completed so quickly again, this time, making sure that her friend was seen to correctly.
