8bits Summary
Wetwork, never my favorite choice of mission. It started easily enough, the mark was a corporate gal we needed to finish the job ASAP. She was either going to be at HQ, at her residence, or at the location of a Lock’d & Load’d. Naturally it turns out the L&L was the same one my doppleganger murdered folks at a few weeks back. So I had to play it very relaxed.
Some sleuthing, some matrix work, and we locate the mark in her home. Our techno decided to lure her out with a call from the store and we would take her en route. I am on site just making sure she gets in the limo when one of her goons shoots me. Turns out she’s afraid I am going to kill her because of actions my double took. This changes things, I seem to be caught in some plot that I need to resolve. I make a play and try to press her for information knowing my team is about to hit. Just she starts to say something, Workout out of nowhere slams her car into the marks limo and ends the conversation.
Something strange is going on.
I spend quite a bit of time going throught he details I got fro the mark's comm. Time to beef up on my bug knowledge.
