Mr. Johnson is looking for a group of runners to protect his asset, and to find a missing person. He's willing to meet at a place of his choosing to discuss the details. -Possible triggers - Violence, Kidnapping, Organ legging/Cyberware Harvesting, Deceit and Betrayal

Longshots Summary

Summary: The group was hired as extra security to protect the K-Pop star "Velveteen Flamingo." The reason was that the stars Bodyguard Schmitty had disappeared and her Production Label was concerned. The group followed up some leads and traveled to the Gym that Schmitty was last seen at. Murmur and Smogg were able to hack into the system cameras and pulled up evidence of a kidnapping. Further investigation led to the discovery that Schmitty was kidnapped by an Elf and a Cybered Human. We found out that the Cybered Human was named "Mike Jogger" and the Elf Adept was "George Fordham." A helpful Guardian spirit hanging out at the Gym was able to describe the kidnapping by a "pointy ear" and a "round ear with the darkened essence." Bob(Big Old Boy) was a very friendly spirit. He explained the van traveled SE towards the docks. Heading there the team encountered an entire group of Rusted Stilletto's hanging out at the docks guarding a shipping container. After a very forceful attack round the runners subdued most of the gangers, the leader, Drek, realized that they were completely overmatched by the runners and he told them that the kidnappers had dropped off Schmitty, paid them to keep watch, and would be back at sunset to pick him up. Next Scene We decided to hang out and ambush them when they arrived. The two kidnappers arrived, paid the Rusted Stiletto's, and grabbed Schmitty. We ambushed them, completely abusing them and tearing them apart like they were made of wet paper. Splitting the team: Longshot took Schmitty to his Street Doc contact - Scotch. Smogg took Mike Jogger to his Triad Street Doc - Jessica Zhao. When the George Fordham woke up we called Belial and told him the details. We got some information that Brat was probably behind the threats. Fast Forwarded We met with Velveteen Flamingo at her practice studio and confronted Brat. It was observed that Brat and Bellatrix(the backup singer) may have had a relationship. The team was able to talk Flamingo into giving the group a private performance. We disguised Flamingo using the Air Spirit and exfil'd her out the deck and down the front of the hotel. Kitsune stayed behind lip syncing to VF's recorded tracks like Milli Vanilli. Murmur registered a music sprite named Beethoven who was Before leaving Impulse discovered that the backup singer Bellatrix was possessed by a nascient Bug spirit and she was fired from her position with Evo. The runners were able to handle security at the concert as the threat was removed beforehand. Consider this run a Full Success and the Johnson absolutely floored with the runners performances.
